I loved this book!
At first I had concerns that it read younger than typical YA but soon got over that. I’m so intrigued by the plot and I absolutely have to know what happens next.
This book has everything - magic, great world building, animal companions, wise leaders (although I don’t trust a couple of them) and bad guys.
I have loved this book and was totally transported to The World below, I literally could not put the book down until I had finished it.

My daughter is now reading it and is enjoying it as much as I have. I can’t wait for the next in the series and hope we won’t have too long to wait to see what happens next. I can’t recommend this book highly enough.

Hi, I’m Katie — mum of twins (yep, one of each!) who inspired me to finally bring a story to life that had been bouncing around my imagination for years. Watching their bond grow and their totally different personalities unfold became the spark behind Twins of Fire.
I’ve always loved storytelling, but being dyslexic meant getting the words down wasn’t always easy, it often felt like there was a wall between the world in my head and the page in front of me. But the ideas never stopped coming. Twins of Fire is the result of years of daydreaming, self talk, and finally giving myself permission to write in a way that worked for me.
When I’m not writing, you’ll usually find me baking (always with an audiobook on), running the kids to and from their clubs, and reading in the car while I wait. I love curling up with a good book — ideally with my dog at my feet — and I’m a big fan of cozy family film nights. Stories, in every form, are my happy place.
